Phyllis Hamler- received a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition-Consumer Science, Magna Cum Laude from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA. in 2002. She has completed the ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification from the National Restaurant Association.She has been working as a nutrition educator for the last three years in the California Nutrition Network. During this time she has developed and given nutrition education presentations to children, adults, and community groups. Additionally, she has taught Foods and Gourmet Cooking classes.

Teresita Castellanos -completed a Science Major degree in Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. After moving to the United States, she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics. She has a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association. She has also continued her training in diabetics.
Teresita has been working in the El Monte School District in the California Nutrition Network, teaching and developing nutrition lessons and healthy recipes for children and adults for the last three years.
